°µÍø½ûÇø Registrar Dr Mike Linney shares his sadness at the death of his counterpart at the Royal College of Physicians, Professor Donal O'Donoghue.
Dr Mike Linney said:
Donal was a great friend to the College and a reliable source of sound advice and kindness. He always made himself available and was a great advocate for young people and young adults. I mark this as the loss of a great friend. I met Donal through our shared roles, and we worked closely together on policy and practice around COVID and wider general medicine. He worked with a very cohesive team, who clearly held him in high regard. I will miss him, and my thoughts are with his family, loved ones, and colleagues.
