We manage external relations with stakeholders and policymakers including the Scottish Government and organisations with an interest in child health. Our friendly team is here to make sure members in Scotland have a voice.

Policy and public affairs

Our team works with paediatricians in Scotland and our two committees. We provide Scottish Government, Scottish Parliament and the third sector with up-to-date guidance and push for policy change to improve the health of children and young people in the nation.

Scottish Executive Committee

This committee advises °µÍø½ûÇø Council on Scottish matters, and contributes to the development of Scottish Government policy. If you're a member in Scotland, contact your representatives about anything you want to discuss at a local or executive level.

Child Protection Subcommittee

This committee informs the College on matters pertinent to child protection in Scotland. We work with other groups and organisations on setting standards and coordinate training and education events in Scotland.
